Through space time, a wormhole is a shortcut that can connect two distant locations. This subject is more than a fiction in the field of Science. |
Wormholes are not been proven yet to exist really, nor they have been totally ruled out by Scientists. The existence of wormholes depends upon the nature of space time, which itself is not completely known to Science. In general term, space time is any mathematical method or system which combines space and time into a single contium. Sometimes the term “space” and “time” are considered different and specific, but in the language of Astrophysics, they both are deeply connected.
In Astrophysics, there are various types of proposed wormholes. The term wormhole was proposed by John Archibald Wheeler, the famous theoretical physicist. In Astrophysics, Schwarzschild wormholes are very vital part. This solution was discovered by great Genius Albert Einstein with his co partner Nathan Rosen. Their result was first published in 1935. According to the studies in Astrophysics, wormhole can allow time travel too. This kind of wormhole is known as Traversable wormhole in the term of Astrophysics and is the most common and known one too. There are various theories attached with wormholes, some facts, and most fictions. In the field of Astrophysics, a wormhole is an achievement and a remarkable subject.
Many Astronomers are still researching on this topic. Geniuses like Einstein and Kip Thorne have worked and studied on this wormhole and provided us with remarkable achievements in the study of wormholes.
