The term metaphysical refers to the nature of metaphysics. It talks about things which do not have material form or substance. The metaphysical element is decidedly abstract constituent.
The word “metaphysics” is derived from two words “meta” and “physics”. The two words mean “beyond” and “nature”. So the name itself talks about something that is beyond the natural. This is not to be confused with modern day mysticism.
A philosopher of metaphysics can be called a metaphysicist or a metaphysician.
As one can see the term has a broad and wide spectrum. One has to fully understand all that metaphysics stands for before one can understand the science. For science it is as it relates to all that is natural.
